You can hire a rowing boat or pedalo on the water in regent's park, which is surrounded by beautiful greenery. kids can pedal around their own mini-lake, while grown-ups might attempt a spot of. During july and august you can rent boats to row or pedal around the lake. weather permitting, the boats continue operating into late september at the weekends. tickets can be purchased across the road at the reception in the millennium arena. for more information contact blue bird boats on 020 7262 1330.. My favourite thing about battersea park, though, is taking a pedal boat around the battersea park lake. it's so romantic and peaceful. even if romance isn't in the air, it's equally fun with a friend. in winter, there are many events which run from time to time at the park. one of the stand out winter events is the fireworks on november 5th..
