wooden boat plans center console
I'd like to build a center console boat. 19-23 foot. most likely strip/composite construction. probably outboard powered. needs to be a good looking boat. the glen-l designs just don't have that sexiness. the landing school builds one that was on the cover of this year's motorboat mag put out by the folks at woodenboat. very nice looking boat.. The carolina 25 is a classic north carolina sport fishing boat in a trailerable center console layout. with her famous carolina flare bow, broken shear and tumblehome she is sure to turn heads. 28′ loa (25’2″ hull) 8′6″ beam; 17″ draft @ 7000 lbs; 350hp single or twin 150hp max; cruise 30-35mph. I have a 22' chincoteague scow center console outboard boat. i thought it would be a nice project to build a new wood center console for her, as the existing fiberglass one is pretty generic. are there any resources out there that would be helpful to me as far as design and construction? i have searched on the internet and found nothing..
