Home made hydroplane race boat . designed in 1954. motor is a 1954 mercury mark 20h outboard. this home built boat was built using clarkcraft plans. the pictures show the build in two places. it. Minimax hydroplane this is a fun little boat to drive. i made one of these in 1965 and made a new one several years ago. it is made from plywood. it is 8 feet long and 4 feet wide. made from the original plans, but i used modern glues and materials, such as west's system epoxy and modern marine paints and sealers..
